Happy Holidays Everyone! 

I hope you each had a beautiful Christmas spent with your family and loved ones this year! 

Holidays like this one in particular make me feel so blessed to have such loving people in my life. Christmas to me isn't about how many gifts you get to open or how extravagant your party has to be. It's about spending quality time with the people you love and being thankful for all the good that has happened within this year.

As the new year is fast approaching, I've reflected on all that has taken place in 2014. I've turned most of my dreams, big and small, into reality; especially this one. It's crazy to say that I work a tedious full time job but still manage to blog from time to time. I've always wanted to live a life where I can inspire people with my passion and talents because that's how I believe every life should be lived. To inspire and be inspired. 

I'm currently obsessed with the hollywood glamour style so gold and faux fur was obviously the way to go. I don't know why but there's something about wearing a faux fur coat that makes me feel like a millionaire. Anyone else get the same feeling like I do? Not to mention the fact that you can pass as a celebrity if you throw on some oversized shades HAHA.

To conclude my last post in 2014, here's a feature of my handsome and beautiful cousins wishing you a wonderful new year!

Fall Florals

Florals are only meant for spring and summer...said no one ever!

I'm not much of a t-shirt type of gal but this one right here definitely changed my mind on that. I've been wanting a varsity striped tee with strong letterings to add to my closet, and H&M happened to design this piece. With NYC having to be the letterings on this tee, I obviously had to get it. If you haven't already known, the big apple is one of my favorite cities for it's one of the fashion capitals in the world! And, because if you haven't had NY pizza... then you've been missing out! 

So Thanksgiving is this Thursday!! What are you thankful for? 

To add to my long list of beautiful blessings this year, I am thankful for having such wonderful readers, like you! Yes you! Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and being so supportive!I know I haven't been updating on the weekly basis, but I hope I still continue to inspire you with all my style posts!

FALLing In

Happy Fall, babes & babettes! 

My favorite season is finally here! (: Time to bust out those jackets, sweaters, and cute booties! Although with this warm weather still lingering in the air, I think we'll have to gradually transition our wardrobe accordingly to the daily temps. 

As you can tell, this is my second post wearing these distressed boyfriends. What can I say; I have a weakness for ripped jeans, especially this one. 

I've always been drawn to styling a business casual/work wear outfit, so here was my best try at it. Loose blouses are the way to go if you're trying to achieve that more dressy vibe without going too over the top. 

I love how this v neck drop works without showing too much cleavage. Come on ladies, you don't want your goods hanging out at a profesh working environment... Gotta keep it classy!

I don't know why, but whenever I wear these heels, these ones specifically; I always feel like I can conquer the world. Literally. Am I the only one who feels this way about a pair of shoes? Maybe it's the laced straps or the faux snakeskin print that gives me this feeling. Who knows! Whatever it is, I hope it never goes away.

BF Jeans > Boys

Who needs a boyfriend when you've got boyfriend jeans? 

I've literally been searching everywhere for the perfect fit of these boyish style jeans and I'm so glad I stumbled upon Pacsun's galaxy washed boyfriend denim! 

With fall just having arrived, ripped jeans will be an obvious staple this fashion season. The tough girl character these jeans have will bring your entire outfit to life! Dress them up with heels to show a more feminine side or play it casually cool with combats/boots.  

As summer has come to an end, so have my brunette days as well. Although I miss being a brunette, change was needed. The good thing is, I don't have to worry about my roots growing out anymore haha! 

Lately, I've been going for that vampy look (as you can tell), especially since October is right around the corner. MAC's Diva lipstick has been my go to lip color this fall. I'm still on the lookout for more dark lippies- a  girl can never have too many! So if you beauties have any faves, please do share!

Is everyone excited for the 3 day weekend?! I know Iam! 

To kick off the Labor Day festivities, I've styled this easy going look for your weekend getaway. Whether you're going to a BBQ or hanging out with your friends, this casual outfit screams comfy everywhere! 

Halter tops have been my go to staples this summer.  I love the fact that they're so stretchy and laid back!I paired this top with white, studded, high waisted shorts to give off a sweet, yet, tough girl feel.

Don't be fooled with the height of these heels because these babies are super light weight!! I've been obsessed with these platforms since the day I got them! I always try to incorporate them into my outfits because they' make every outfit pop with retro vibes. 

It's been super hot lately and this weather has been making me crave ice cream!  Located in Burbank, California, Quenelle Ice Creamery,  makes their ice cream from scratch!  Cookie butter fudge and vanilla mascarpone are my two faves. They have a bunch of other out of this world flavors that I still have yet to try. So if you're looking for a little escape from this heat, definitely check em out!

Stop! HAMMER TIME!

I'm writing this post on 4 hours of sleep and I'm surprised to say that I'm a tad on the hyper side, rather than feeling like a moody zombie. I started my first day as a lab specimen assistant, monday night, and it was definitely a lot to take in. To give you guys a little insider on my job, I work in a lab (i get to wear a lab coat!) and I process all the tests that doctors administer to their patients.  Pretty cool, ey? 

 I'm a fashion blogger by day and vampire by night since I work with blood samples! >:) HEHE

I felt like ditching the dressy outfits and going with a more comfier look. 'Sweatpants, hair tied, chillin' with no makeup on.'  

These harem pants are the comfiest bottoms ever, followed by the oh so basic, sweats. haha! Since these babies are high waisted, I had to pair it with a crop top so it wouldn't take away from the shape & style of the pants. I wanted to give this look some height, so instead of going for classic, white chucks, I wore these trendy, white platforms instead.
