Chic Chick

(Necklace- BornPrettyStore, Jacket- Zara, Bodysuit- Forever21, Skirt-Brandy Melville, Boots- Asos)

Happy Sunday everyone! I'm currently writing out my thoughts while jamming out to OneRepublic's new album, Oh My My. It just seems to mix well with the heavy overcast in LA this morning.

I've been wanting to get my hands on a choker for the fall season and lucky enough I was able to receive this gem from Born Pretty Store this month. For $1.99 it's such a steal!! Plus if you use my discount code BALT10 you get $$ off your purchase. I've linked the necklace below if you wanna check it out.

This Zara jacket has been hiding in my closet since august so I was ecstatic to be able to wear it out recently since the weather has been slowly cooling off. If you know me well enough I'm a huge fan of utility chic jackets. (this is like the 3rd pair i own haha) Anyone else agree with me that they just scream fall vibes?

I hope everyone has a fun and safe halloween! Save me some twix bars okay? :D

2 in 1

It's been a while since I've updated my blog with outfit posts, so here's a 2 in 1 for you lovelies!

Like I've said before in my previous post, I'm obsessed with the minimalist look. It's been such a life saver in this heat since I've been too lazy to wear pants. Anyone else feel the same?

For the first outfit, I topped this lovely, white scalloped shorts with a black racer back tank. I wanted to go for a dressy, yet simple outfit so I paired it with my fave lace up heels. Thank goodness for their zipper back detailing, if not, then I'd probably take forever to tie these babies up!

I've literally been wearing this kimono almost EVERYWHERE I go!! I love the fringe detailing and the cute floral print on it! It's so lightweight and goes with almost anything. Definitely a summer must have!

You can never complete an outfit without wearing eye-catching jewelry!

Always a big thank you to Jenny from Born Pretty Store for sending me cute jewelries to style my outfits with (:

I had to combine this beautiful, pearl bracelet with the classic, gold chained necklace, for I knew they would give off a more stronger, elegant feel altogether. The elasticity of the bracelet is so convenient since you can adjust it to your own wrist size. I don't have to worry about having it fall off all the time.

I'm a HUGE Game of Thrones fan so I totally had to get this dragon ring.  Ahhh!!!!(fan girl scream).  I can't wait for season 5 to come out already!! But in the meantime, I'll be channeling my inner Khaleesi, Mother of Dragons, & the rightful heir to the throne with this ring. HAHA.

Be sure to use my code BALT10 on bornprettystore.com to receive 10% off your entire purchase!

My page view counter just reached 10k! You know what that means.... I'll be holding my first giveaway soon so stay tuned!! Thank you for making this happen! I honestly have the best readers ever! Sending each and everyone of you a virtual hug and kiss <3

I left my heart in tokyo

Photos  by Edward Kim

( Crop Top- Hollister, Skirt- JcPenney, Purse & Sunnies- Forever21)

Greetings, lovelies!

I haven't blogged in a while cause I haven't gotten the chance to get any new clothes for summer. I find it so tempting when you want to buy everything in a store, but you can't, since you have no source of income. The struggle is too real. BOOHOO.

Anyways, I've been pulling up old shoots I did since I haven't written about them. Might as well share them with y'all!!

So this is a shoot I did last summer with Edward, at the Japanese Gardens in Van Nuys, CA. I'd been so oblivious to this place because I never thought that the San Fernando Valley would have a Japanese Garden at all- Thank God for google!

Admission was only $3 per person (if I remember correctly) and it's truly such a beautiful place to take pictures at. The lighting is perfect during the daytime, and there's a tea house where you and your friends can relax in while drinking tea. It wasn't open yet when we went, so maybe Edward and I will shoot here again this summer!

I styled this effortless outfit with pieces that every girl has in her closet. A black skater skirt and a crop top. I chose a polka dotted pattern since It would contrast more with the plain, black skirt. Finishing it up, I wore these nude, open toed, ankle strapped heels. This outfit definitely has a  "I didn't try too hard to look pretty" feel. What do you guys think?

If you're up for a little adventure this weekend, head on over to Temecula Valley, for their Balloon & Wine Festival. I've always been fascinated with hot air balloons because of their dazzling designs and how high they get up in the sky! I'll be in attendance so I'm hoping to get nice shots of the hot air balloons in flight, during the sunset balloon launch.

Stay tuned for my next post!

Hex Girl

(crop top- nastygal, skater skirt- decree by jcpenney, sandals- charlotte russe, sunnies- zerouv, accessories- bornprettystore

Photos by Vera Bersabal

I'm a hex girl and I'm gonna put a spell on you.

Broomsticks. dark lippies. casting spells. and black clothing from head to toe. If I had a chance to be someone else in the afterlife, being a witch is number one on my list. American Horror Story: Coven was a favorite tv show of mine and I love how they did a modernized take on the witches' wardrobes. Here's my take on this witch inspired outfit.

I paired this edgy  cropped tank with a black skater skirt to give it a gothic but feminine feel. These open- toe laced up sandals are just the cherry on top to this outfit. Don't let these laces fool you. These babies have zippers on the sides so no need to worry about tying them up.

So all the accessories I used in this outfit are from bornprettystore.com  They have really cute jewelries and accessories at very affordable prices! some as low as $0.99! It's FREE SHIPPING plus, just punch in my promo code BALT10 and you'll get 10% off your entire purchase! Below I've linked the ones I used for this look. Simply click on their side banner or on the caption to be redirected to their site.

The sun shaped choker necklace is definitely a fave of mine due to its vintage cryptic look. This will definitely come in handy especially for halloween or dress up parties.

I grew up to love the Harry Potter series so I totally had to get this braided bracelet. It has 2 cute owls, the snitch, and the deathly hallows on it so I simply couldn't resist.

I've never actually owned any finger connected bracelets so this is my first one ever. I have a fear of snakes, but this one I can deal with since I know it won't bite.

Who said witches didn't have a sense of style?

Casual + Edge

Photos by Kassey Cordova

(Blazer- H&M, Top- Brandy Melville, Jeans- Hollister, Heels- Shoedazzle)

Ripped jeans are definitely a favorite of mine. I owe a bunch from skinnies to boyfriends. There's just something about them that makes any outfit edgy and tough.

I styled my pair with a flowy cropped tank and black sophisticated heels to give it a contrast between a sexy yet relaxed feel. Also, I was able to polish this outfit with a black blazer to match my cute shoes.

I forgot to mention that my sunnies are from zerouv. I'm wearing their oversized round glasses in black. Their site has a ton of retro and chic sunglasses at affordable prices. Plus, it's free shipping! You can view their styles here
